Recognizing Veterans Day
This upcoming Monday, November 11th will mark Veterans Day for the United States of America. At Fora Financial we recognize the selflessness and dedication by these brave individuals who served our country. There are approximately 1.5 million active members of the Armed Forces spread across the Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard whose roles vary from serving in the line of battle to aiding those who are injured. There are only a few holidays which commemorate the work of these individuals, so today we would like to shed light on their dedication to our country.
An interesting study revealed that a large portion of our nation’s veterans are likely to start their own business after completing their service. In fact, a hefty 45 percent of individuals with active-duty experience start their own entrepreneurial journey, opposed to individuals with no military experience.*These statistics may in fact coincide with the rigorous training that the members of our armed forces undergo and the development of strong organizational skills. Individuals who serve our country tend to hone strong leadership characteristics that make them perfect candidates to lead a small business.
At Fora Financial we have an array of financing programs that can help the veterans of our Armed Forces succeed in their entrepreneurial dreams. Many veterans continue to serve and lead our communities as small business owners. These men and women are the owners of your favorite local restaurants, auto-body shops, retail stores and much more. Small businesses are the backbone to our country and without the men and women who serve to protect us, and keep our freedom, many would not exist. At Fora Financial we are proud to be a helping hand in the success of small businesses owned by our country’s Armed Forces.
We would like remind you to thank members of the Armed Forces and small business owners for their dedication to their communities.
